Dr. Henry James Behar is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who is committed to providing exceptional care in our community. Prior to joining Rosh Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Dr. Behar was a member of the academic faculty at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and New York University Langone Health. He is a lifelong resident of New York City, and has deep roots within the communities of the five boroughs.

Dr. Behard attended New York University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He earned his doctorate at State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, and performed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology training at State University of Brooklyn.

In his free time, Dr. Behar is an avid traveler and a passionate supporter of the arts.
