Dr. Daniel Roshan MD, FACOG, FACS:
Dr. Daniel Roshan is a Board-certified OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (high-risk OB/GYN) specialist. He is an active member of the American College of Ob-Gyn and American College of Surgeons. He was trained at Johns Hopkins hospital and is a member of Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Society, Johns Hopkins Howard Kelly Society, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Society for Human Genetics, Society for Gynecologic investigation, Bellevue Ob/Gyn Society and New York Obstetrics Society.
He is a founder of the Sephardic American Medical Society. He has published over 50 research abstracts and presented original research papers at many scientific societies such as: Society for Gynocological Investigation, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American college of Ob/Gyn and American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine. He has performed or supervised over 10,000 births, 6,000 amniocenteses, and over 2,000 Chronic villus samplings. He gets referrals from all over the country for Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and actively lectures and teaches this procedure. He is also expert in recurrent pregnancy losses, Thrombophilia and pregnancy such as factor V Laiden mutation, Prot S and C deficiency, Diabetes in pregnancy, Thyroid disease in pregnancy, seizure disorders, pre-term labor and multiple pregnancies such as twins, triplets, and quadruplets. Dr. John Migotsky, MD, FACOG:
Dr. John Migotsky is a Board-certified OB/GYN, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He comes to ROSH Maternal-Fetal medicine with 16 years of experience. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in neuroscience, Dr. Migotsky conducted research in maternal/child health and perinatal epidemiology with the Rhode Island Department of Health. He received his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Then he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Prior to his work with ROSH, he worked in private practice in Westchester, NY and was affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. John Migotsky is committed to providing high-quality care to patients by listening to their concerns, addressing their needs and providing insightful remedies and recommendations. He has delivered thousands of babies including many vaginal births after Cesarean section (VBAC). His team approach encompasses gynecologic oncology, infertility and urogynecology. Dr. Rachel Villenueva
Dr. Rachel Villenueva is a Board certified Ob/Gyn servicing women's needs in convenient midtown Manhattan. She is a member of the National Medical Association and the American College of Ob/Gyn. After graduating from Yale she went on to complete her residency at Cornell University NY Hospital. Dr. Villenueva brings a wealth experience and care to each and every appointment.
Ashwin Jadhav, MD (Joining the practice in 2014)
Dr. Ashwin Jadhav is a Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ob-Gyn specialist. He completed his fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine from New York University in 2012. He also has Master's degree in Health Informatics from University of Texas at Houston. His interests in Maternal Fetal Medicine include Prenatal ultrasound for fetal diagnosis, fetal neurosonography and fetal echocardiography. His other interest include Diabetes complicating pregnancy and Multiple gestation. Dr. Jadhav performs procedures for fetal diagnosis including CVS (Chorionic villi sampling) in first trimester of pregnancy as well amniocentesis. When not working, Dr. Jadhav enjoys spending time with his family as well reading.
Howard T. Shaw, M.D. (Joining the practice in 2014)
Dr. Howard Shaw has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1995. He graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers in 1987 where he earned his bachelor's degree in biological science. Dr. Shaw was then admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa society and studied at the state university of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine, which he graduated from in 1991. Immediately after, he began training at Lenox Hill Hospital and since his graduation in 1995, he has been an attending physician there.
In addition, Dr. Shaw has received board certification from the board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His expertise includes family planning, menstrual and Pap smear irregularities, annual check ups, pre and post- menopausal symptoms, obstetrics and gynecology.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Benjamin and Samantha. He currently resides in Manhattan's East Side, which allows him to be immediately available for his patients. Having a family has really instilled in him the desire and ability to care for each one of his patients and make them feel comfortable that they are receiving the best treatment possible. Dr. Will W. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Will W. Lee is a Gynecologist and Women's Healthcare Specialist serving the needs of our patients in the trendy Lower East Side downtown office location. He was educated at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency training at Boston Medical Center/Boston University Medical Center integrative program.
His past experiences include proudly serving our country as a medical officer and Obstetrician & Gynecologist with the United States Air Force Medical Corps. Dr. Lee is here to listen to your unique health concerns and will advocate the treatment options that best meets your needs. He has a special interest in office based infertility assessments, minimally invasive procedures, and welcomes second opinion consultations for all gynecological disease states.

Julie Lamonoff, CNM, OB-GYN NP, MSN, CLC (Joining the practice in 2014)
Julie Lamonoff brings several years of experience in Maternal Child Health to her position as OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for women's health care started as a registered nurse at NYULMC Labor and Deliver and a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC). Following her aspiration to provide optimal care, Julie achieved her advanced training in midwifery at New York University College of Nursing where she obtained skills in Well Woman exam, Prenatal and Postpartum care, IUD insertion, Contraceptive Counseling and STI Screening.
Julie is originally from New York. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from University of Michigan. She enjoys cooking and travel as well as volunteering her time to provide health care to women internationally, most recently Rwanda.
Shira Plonka, MS, CGC:
Shira Plonka is a board certified genetic counselor and a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC); she earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Prior to receiving her master’s, Shira received an honors degree in psychology and social work from University of Waterloo. Shira has held internships in many of New York City’s top hospitals, acquiring a broad exposure to many disciplines and specialties, including cancer and pediatric genetics.
Shira focuses on preconception and prenatal genetic counseling: carrier screening, prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic testing. She provides information about the risks of chromosome abnormalities, birth defects, genetic conditions, and teratogen exposure to individuals, couples or families. Shira is committed to informing patients about potential genetic risks, enabling them to make informed decisions for a current or future pregnancy in a supportive and non-directive environment. This process assists patients in making the best choices for themselves in the framework of their personal and cultural beliefs.
